"Great place to relax…"
Spent the whole day there & still didn't make it all the way round as kids loved all the animals. Would happily go again. Pricey but as long as you take a picnic it works out ok.Read moreLess
"We have visited CWP about half a dozen times over…"
We have visited CWP about half a dozen times over several years and it is consistently great. There is plenty to see, but not so spread out that little ones get exhausted. It never seems too crowded and you get fantastically close to animals, much closer than anywhere else we have been. Amazingly you can take your dog there (a few areas are restricted) but this is a huge benefit to us and they should advertise the fact more, it's so unusual. Don't miss the Siamangs, people often walk past them.Read moreLess
"We went to the Cotswold Wildlife Park this weekend and…"
We went to the Cotswold Wildlife Park this weekend and DS (age 2) loved it. There were lots of animals to see, ice-creams to eat, a train to ride on, a big adventure playground with rides and even brass rubbings to do.
DS loved the train. At about 10 minutes, the ride was just long enough to keep him interested and at only £1 for adults and 50p for children over 3, not too expensive an extra either.
DS also loved the brass rubbing. It cost 80p to do a small one and even at 2 he was able to get a pretty good result by rubbing his crayon over the paper. He seemed to think it was great that his usualy scribblings were miraculously creating a recognisable picture.
All in all a great family day outRead moreLess

Excellent day out for all the family. Lots of animals to see. A large picnic area. A playground with something to suit all ages. A train goes around the park throughout the day.
During holidays they often have special days: reptiles, birds of prey etc.
A full day out.Read moreLess
