Auchingarrich Wildlife Center

A fantastic day out for all the family. I have two children aged 8 and 6 they loved our day trip. A warm welcome with a lovely map of the park. The children had several fabourite attractions the hatchery where the children can see chicks hatch from eggs in an incubator to being allowed to handle (under supervision) chicks. Open rabbit, guinea pig pens interaction is possible. The Otter area was also fun to watch. The park provide good talks on the animals. The adventure playground was a big hit and it is surrounded by picnic tables so you can enjoy lunch and let the kids burn off some energy. If the weather is inclement or picnics are not your thing we loved the newly refurbished cafe. The cakes were really yummy, and although we didnt have it, the homemade soup looked great. We will definetly return.
