"Great place for all the family, lots to do!…"
We started off at the Railway Museum, this place has old famous trains and the modern Japan's Bullet Train. There's an outdoor play area and miniature railway plus, lots of kids activities. Plus it's FREE! Next was a walk along the City Walls, we had a audio guide and took our time along this famous battlement, the kids love it. After lunch we had a stroll through the Shambles, this is a famous medieval street, and the kids loved its wonky buildings. This led us to our final destination, The Dungeons! It takes about 2 hours to be guided through about 2000 years of history, there are actors all along the way with hilarious scripts that keep all the family entertained. The Dungeons is a must if you go to York. Tomorrow is a day out at the York Maze and Gardens, I believe this takes a full day to fully explore.Read moreLess
