"Much better than you'd expect, with something for everyone.…"
We weren't expecting much, but had a great day out here.
There's an exhibition about farming with old machines, some of which are still working, which is much more interesting & entertaining than it sounds. There's a hilarious exhibit of wedding dresses from different eras on the most hideous mannequins I've ever seen. There are several small historical displays to look at.
There's a fantastic collection of old cars & other vehicles, including a bus that was on Downton Abbey & a Model T Ford. Plus a motorbike display.
There are 3 different, clean softplay area for different age groups, plus a bouncy castle and lots of outdoor playthings. There are go karts too.
There are loads of animals to see and feed - goats, sheep, rabbits, deer, ponies. Children can even be taken for a walk by a goat!
There's also birds of prey with daily displays and ferret races.
Although a large proportion of the park is indoor/undercover, it's in barns, so wrap up for whatever the outdoor temperature is.
Best for younger children.Read moreLess
