"Lots to do here for kids of all ages and…"
Lots to do here for kids of all ages and a good choice of restaurants. Cinema, bowling, outside fun fair, laserquest, inside play gym and climbing wall as well as all the snow stuff. Also, it is a good place to have children's parties - we have had both play gym and tobogganing parties to date. And when you get bored there is the shopping outlet across the road.Read moreLess
"I took my 4 year old and 18 month old…"
I took my 4 year old and 18 month old to Xscape at Castleford just to have a look around and we had a brilliant day out - you dont have to pay to get in so you just pay for the activities that you have a go at. As it was the Easter holidays there were entertainers and craft workshop going on - all which was free. My 4 year old adored sledging on the REAL snow (take a change of waterproof clothes and gloves though - its really cold) - and they both loved just watching all the skiers for ages from the viewing windows. They then had a play in the soft play centre before we had lunch - there are loads of great family friendly restaurants to choose from - and lots of shops to sneak off to whilst Granny looked after the children! My daughter then had a go at the climbing wall which was brilliant that she could do something that she thought looked only for grown ups! Xscape looked really good for older children too as there is an aerial assault course, you can have skiing lessons (they have a Kids camp in the holidays. We really enjoyed it and you dont have to spend a fortune as there was so much entertainment just from walking around.Read moreLess
