"Great fun, loud and colourful.…"
Took our girls, 3 & half and 1 & half to the Saturday show (started a little late of the 4.45 ticket time). It was a show full of music, colour and fun. My eldest watched in awe for most of the first half and was up dancing for the second half and finale. She really enjoyed it and has told most people since that she'd seen Mister Maker dressed as a bug!
My little one did not enjoy it so much and was ready for it to finish well before the end. I think it was just a little too loud and too long for her age. I left before the end to keep her entertained and saw plenty of other parents out in the corridor.
For the price it's a brilliant afternoon/evenings entertainment but in hindsight it would have been better to wait until they could both really enjoy it.Read moreLess
"Well worth the money…"
DS is 2.1 so relatively young for this show but he loved it. It was his first show of any type. We had good seats at the front so he could see everything clearly and wasn't phased at all by the noise. Favourites were of course Mr. Tumble and Rastamouse.

Was nice and relaxed there, no bag searches etc and happy to let little ones dance in aisles.

Food choices there were limited to nuggets/hot dogs but you could buy and take back to your seats. Buy the sticks that illuminate before if you can as they sold out quickly. Luckily at the interval they had more supplies.

Parking took ages to get into the yellow car park - allow more time than you think.

A great day and worth every penny to see my son having such a lovely time.Read moreLess
"Kids (2 & 4) absolutely loved it…"
I wasn't really looking forward to a schlep all the way to Wembley on a Saturday afternoon for 90 minutes of Cbeebies characters live, but actually we had a great time. My two girls, 2 and 4, had a fantastic afternoon and we overheard them chatting about it the following day.

The storyline was good (without spoiling it - the cbeebies characters have to help Rastamouse assemble a big band) with each segment well thought through to hold my kids' attention for the whole show. There are lots of songs and plenty of opportunities to dance, and all the favourites are there - Justin and Mr Tumble (although oddly never on stage together ;-) ), Mr Maker, Mr Bloom, Zingzillas etc.

Wembley Arena isn't a cheap place to go to or park at, but we weren't bombarded with retail "opportunities" so the pester factor was low, and no officious security searching our bags for sandwiches and drinks bought off-site, either.

It isn't a cheap show, but it was worth it to see my girls so happy. Certainly an age appropriate show for 2+, although at times the auditorium can get quite dark, if your little one is nervous about such things.Read moreLess
"Great for toddlers and fans of CBeebies…"
I took my 2.5 year old DS to CBeebies Live at Wembley on Saturday and had a great time! DS enjoys watching CBeebies at home but he hasn't really been to a massive venue or gig before.

For most of the show he sat in complete awe and wonderment at what was happening in front of him but there's room to get up and dance if you want to. It's not too loud for little ones either.

DH and I really enjoyed watching his reaction to seeing characters he knows and loves from CBeebies on the big stage. It goes without saying that Mr Tumble is the star of the show and the kids really go wild for him but all the characters do a great job of getting the kids involved and excited.

Some practical info worth knowing in advance is that the show lasts 2 hours with a 20 minute interval. It started promptly at 4.45pm so make sure you're there in time.Read moreLess
