"Wonderful for all ages - plenty to see for parents…"
Wonderful for all ages - plenty to see for parents and children, with lots of activity centres scattered around. Good changing facilities, lovely lawn with fountain (read: paddling pool) and cafes. So much around, you will always find something interesting to look at and get involved with. Will certainly be going back.
Only down side is the stairs, and complicated lift system; not all the lifts go to all floors.Read moreLess

"We timed it right and got to do a themed…"
We timed it right and got to do a themed sticky activity in the sackler wing centre. We then went up a great stair case and had a look at all the jewel encrusted silverware on the first floor loads of oohs followed by brass rubbing in the medieval section.
The bed of ware was pretty good they like the carved messages on it and bits that look as if chewing had been stuck on. We then did a who can find the most baby Jesus' trail and finally popped in to the cafe where there was a really good deal on children's meals if an adult eat too not the cheapest but we had not paid to get in and the food was really good. We finally hopped on the tube via the under ground tunnel lots of oohs at the busker and got home all very tired and happy.
The weather had been awful and it was a great day. Lots of really Good info on their web site. Friday eve is good as a treat as they have music too .Read moreLess
