It is brilliant! Really well done, interesting, clean, intimate, friendly, fun environment. Great value for money. Even the toilets smelled lovely! For children or parents, it is a relaxing and most enjoyable day out. We learnt so much about his remarkable life. We knew very little about him and his books and know others who are fanatical about him, either way you will have a really lovely family day out. I can't recommend it enough.

This place is amazing for any Roald Dahl fan, we only found out about it by winning a family ticket in a raffle at school. DD2 who has read most of the books loved it and we ended up spending a few hours there. So much better than we thought it would be.

Small museum with interactive exhibits best suited to children who have read some of the books. Storytelling sessions with aspiring actors, colouring and making sessions and special events during holidays. Wonka chocolate doors that smell of the real thing and Cafe Twit for snacks including snozzcumber sandwiches. Great fun for a rainy day.

Fantastic place right in the middle of the village. Chocolate Willy Wonka doors, interactive exhibits, free notebook with prompts in to fill in as you go around. Drama students do regular daily readings from the books, Cafe Twit serves great food, incl snozzcumber sandwiches, special workshops during the holidays. Best appreciated by children who have read the books, I left my 3yo with Grandma and took my 6yo with friends whose kids were 6-10. We spent a good 4 hours there, even though it says allow 90 mins only on the website!
