"This is a seriously fun day out for everyone. Parents"
06-Jul-2010
This is a seriously fun day out for everyone. Parents were impressed with the size/number/diversity of aircrafts, and kids just ran around having a fantastic time. The children's section is very good, although the museum is so huge that you could enjoy the day without visiting the kids' section. Good parking, free, and ok Cafe. It also has bbirthday party facilities, but we haven't tried them (yet).

"My 2 year old boy was in heaven in this"
24-Aug-2009
My 2 year old boy was in heaven in this huge museum. Especially loved the interactive section and plane he could go in and move the tail and wings. I recommend you to take your own picnic and eat in the indoor or putdoor picnic areas. Cafe was quite pricey.

"This was a great day out, especially since it was"
06-Aug-2009
This was a great day out, especially since it was FREE. All 3 children (5, 7 & 11) enjoyed it. The array of planes was fantastic. 11 yo was especially impressed by the huge bombers. We did pay for one of the simulators which was ok, but the film was a bit old so it was grainy. There's also a hands on area for children, which they found fun. We'll definitely go again when we're in the area.

"My 4 year old son had a fantastic time at"
16-Jul-2009
My 4 year old son had a fantastic time at the RAF museum. Loads of planes (a few bombs and weapons too, so it's not for the faint-hearted!) and lots of interactive stuff. It's completely free, there's a free car park, and also easy access from the Northern line. We were there for four hours and went home because I was tired - ds would happily have stayed longer.
