"We were really disappointed - we wanted to love it"
09-Apr-2012
We were really disappointed - we wanted to love it (I adored the books growing up, and read them to my children now), but didn't. The scenes were beautifully done, but got a bit repetitive. We went round in about 30 mins, hence low value for money.

"Lovely couple of hours spent in here. Amazing work has"
02-Jul-2010
Lovely couple of hours spent in here. Amazing work has gone into the exhibits. dd is only 4 and hasn't read the books but knows 'peter rabbit has a fly upon his nose' so vaguely knew we'd be seeing a rabbit but that's all! well, she loved it!! you really don't need to know the stories to enjoy the visual experience of it all, plus the smells!
The only down side is how busy it gets, and how cramped it is, but then that's the nature of these types of exhibits i guess. we managed it fine with ds in his pushchair though.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

"Lovely! My 2 year old was entranced. we had tea"
01-Jul-2010
Lovely! My 2 year old was entranced. we had tea with peter rabbit, and a story from Beatrix Potter and then walked around the museum (a one-off bookable event). Lots of lovely little animals in cute scenes. things to read and interact with. Probably 2-3 hour visit will suffice.
