"It was fabulous although younger children will probably not find…"
It was fabulous although younger children will probably not find the house itself very interesting. It's a Tudor Jacobean house which displays textiles, pottery, paintings, furniture and lots more besides. The house itself is very beautiful and set in magnificent surroundings. There was plenty of free parking to be had even on an exceptionally sunny weekend (father's day!) which impressed us.
Entry to the park is free but entry to the house and farm etc all costs. However, we thought that the prices were very reasonable. We made a day of it by taking a picnic.
We then went to Home farm which was great for the kids. The staff were really family focused, making a fuss of the children when we entered and giving us free food for the animals.Read moreLess
