"Lots to see and do…"
Took two boys ages 8 & 10 plus Grandma so we got in on a family ticket. Went on Warrior, Victory and round the Mary Rose museum. All very good but Warrior was our favourite - a lot more walk where you want, touch anything you like than the other exhibits. Didn't have time to do harbour tour or action stations but boys didn't mind and ticket is valid for 1 year.
Portsmouth harbour train station is next door making getting there easy. Family ticket is pricey but google found us a 50% off voucher. There are indoor and outdoor picnic areas.Read moreLess
"We took out 2 and 6 year old boys here…"
We took out 2 and 6 year old boys here and we all had fun. It was quite expensive but the ticket covers entry to HMS Victory, Mary Rose and a 45 minute boat tour of the harbour - and unlimited entry for a year to the museums, HMS Warrior and Action Stations with simulators, hands-on science gallery and apparently one of the tallest climbing walls in Europe. DS1 was thrilled to see so many modern warship up close (I was less-so...) and loved HMS Victory. DS liked climbing on the cannons!Read moreLess
"For my son's 7th birthday we visited Portsmouth Historic Dockyard…"
For my son's 7th birthday we visited Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and it surpassed all expectations. As well as visiting HMS Victory, we also had a boat trip around the harbour and went to 'Action Stations'. This was a converted warehouse in which there was rock climbing, simulated shooting, a helicopter simulator, a submarine control centre and so much more. I really wasn't expecting all of that and all included in the ticket price. It was little boy heaven.Read moreLess
