"Leeds -the best castle in my opinion…"
The surroundings are idyllic and relaxing. Masses of space for kids to run and play in, lots to do apart from looking round the castle itself! - falconry displays, huge beautifully made wooden fort play area, aviary, herb garden, maze, underground grotto...to name but a few!
Pack a feast of a picnic and enjoy a fabulous day.
Ticker price covers you for a year - well worth it!Read moreLess

Ticket is vailid for a whole years so is great value if you can use it more than once.
You can take the kids/babies in the castle, but not the buggies, there are to buggy sheds so buggies will keep dry.
Restaurant is quite big, The cream of tomato soup was really tasty, the boys loved it too, & not silly prices. When the restaurant is busy you need to leave the buggies outside (Sundays)
There is also a food area by the playground, which does ice cream & choc & drinks & little things. Take you own tools for the sandpit. and the play fort is great for the bigger kids (like me)Read moreLess

very impressed with the baby facilities, even down to the microwave in the restaurant to warm bottle. Lovely manager too. You can't take buggies into the castle but I was given a baby carrier so if you've got your own take it with you because the car park is quite a way from the castle.Read moreLess

Beautiful place. Has fab picnic areas and kiddies play areas. Great Buggy access around the grounds. The house is outstanding just not child friendly. Once you have a ticket it's valid for a year - great value for money!Read moreLess
