"Lovely cloudy day option. Great for small kids.…"
We opted for a trip here on what we thought was going to be a rainy day – thankfully the rain held as although tanks are inside, you walk outside between them, so for a wet weather option, this isn’t the best. For a cloudy-not-really-warm-enough-for-the-beach day this was perfect.
It is expensive to get in but we had a 241 adult voucher, which made it slightly more bearable. That said, we filled 3 hours here and adults and kiddies (3 and 1) enjoyed it. If you’ve been to any of the other sealife centres its very similar: divided into sections Amazon, Penguin world, rock pools etc. There is a new little splash area here which would be ideal to keep the kiddies cool on a hot day. Bring trunks and swim nappies – although I didn’t see lockers so you’ll need to carry around. This site also boasts a mini a small fair/theme park area with a log flume, (small) big wheel, and a few other rides suitable for toddlers. There is no additional cost for rides which makes a nice change. We followed the suggested route around the centre and finished up here, a great way to revive weary legs.Read moreLess

Very good, indoors and outdoors. Has a new splash area for kids. Lots of things to see. Can use Tesco clubcard vouchers to get in otherwise quite expensive - also have to pay to park.Read moreLess
