I bought this book from some MN and Amazon reviews that blared on about how fab and delightful it was.
I was rather disappointed that the books were flimsy paper books, rather than being something a bit more practical like boardbooks, the weight makes them easier to stay flat and when little hands reach out to feel they are firm and don't get ripped.
The mobile was the biggest disappointment, without plenty of tape some additional string and an old metal coathanger this would still be in the box. It was just flimsy and the slightest breeze made it collapse in a pile of floppy paper.
Black and White images were good for DD to focus on, but I went and bought a more sturdy board book [with trains on] for her and it's still a hit now, 2 years on. Where as the paper books in this set have all been recycled now as they damaged so very easily.
