As soon as I got to the part in the introduction where it says 'If it feels like you are having a constant battle with a teenager, you might like to look at...' I knew this was just the book I needed at this stage of being a parent.
I already have Lucinda Neall's book 'About our Boys' and her book about teenagers (girls and boys) is proving to be as useful. I have a horrible feeling that the author must have been listening to some of the things I've caught myself saying when it comes to the examples of what not to say. Thankfully there's plenty of advice about how to approach the teenager in your life in a more constructive way. The book is well laid out so it is easy to find what you need and it has an upbeat positive tone which I really liked.
