Despite lots of help from midwives in hospital, home visits, the breastfeeding counsellor etc, after two weeks of expressing, cup-feeding and eventually bottle-feeding expressed milk, it was this book which gave me the answers I needed. I had already seen the DVD from Claire Byam-Cook before birth but it was facing the realities of the particular problems that I and my baby had to overcome, that this book really came into its own. The general advice in the book is also very useful for the first few weeks.
