The Idle Parent, by Tom Hodgkinson

Couldn't even finish this book. Its basically one idea - that we should be more chilled out and hands off as parents - strung out into an entire book in order to make some money (not that idle then, the author, eh?). Be really chilled out and don't even bother buying it.

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.

And funny.

Read it in three days. I feel like I have permission to be me for the first time in 6 years! Can't recommend highly enough.
