"Best for not letting your baby cry it out…"
I refused to let pops cry herself to sleep but I wanted to be able to teach her how to send herself to sleep - I think they call it self soothe.
This book is good because is gives you a whole list of different options depending on the baby's age and YOU decide which one (or more) you would like to try.
We decided on the comforter option and the bedtime routine so that pops would know what comes next.
The only negative about this book is the fact that I didn't get to finish it because pops started sleeping through at 7pm after her bedtime routine!
Brilliant book with caring loving ways of helping your baby to sleep.Read moreLess

"This book saved my sanity when struggling with a non-sleeper.…"
This book saved my sanity when struggling with a non-sleeper. Firstly, it made me feel much better - there were so many worse sleepers out there! It also helped me understand more about baby/toddler sleep, & has some innovative ideas, especially for those breastfeeding and/or co-sleeping. Great to have some practical alternatives to the controlled crying route.
Did it work? To an extent, and it certainly helped me think about what sort of sleep-parenting style I wantedRead moreLess
