'Maybe because' is a great picture book about the best little boy in the world who happens to have been adopted. This book really helps make each child, adopted or not, feel special as it prompts the child to think about what it is that makes THEM special - being good at karate, speaking Spanish, building Lego... Great for one on one or classroom discussions! It has been awarded National Adoption Awareness Week Recommended Read status. Highly recommended! Also, really cute illustrations!
