My Life On A Plate, by India Knight

This book is brilliant and hilarious from start to finish. Refreshingly honest in her style and approach. India Knight has impressed me greatly, I only bought this as I was stuck for something to read on my commute and was drawn to it by the cover! It is now doing the rounds of every female friend and relative I have! It may not be literary genius, but I only wanted to enjoy it. And I did. In a heap of convulsive giggles. I believe it is one of the first of the slew of "slummy mummy" type books out there but one of the best, possibly the one that started the "slummy mummy" type books trend.
