"A plot that sucks you right in…"

Wow! It hit me right between the eyes. I found myself rooting for Rose to free herself from that terrible man, but every time there was a glimmer of hope it was somehow snatched away from her. The book was very dark in places but it doesn't leave you feeling depressed at all.

"One woman's moving story of loss and hope…"

A window into one woman's harrowing experience of miscarriage and infertility, her marriage to a very bad man and her final, moving journey into motherhood. There were a lot of themes to this novel, but these were the ones that were the most poignant for me. It was happy, it was sad, I went through every emotion with her.
