This is an inspiring, wonderful book that everyone should read. Randy, a computer science professor at Carnegie Mellon was asked to give a lecture as if it were his last. Not that unusual theme except that Randy had recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer. His lecture was "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams" and is not about dying but all about living. His humour, love of life and his family are central to this theme and prove a humbling read. Simple ideas (and some deceptively deep ones) expressed with wit, charm and poignancy. Lovely.Read moreLess
