Laugh out loud read. Rennison brilliantly captures the angst of fitting-in, the vulnerability of puberty and the embarrassment of parents! As I read excerpts of Georgia Nicolson's diary I was given a glimpse of what could have been my very own adolescence. A book I wasn't sure I wanted to read, as I thought I'd be past it in age, but it immediately took me back to my youth and made me laugh so hard I nearly peed my pants! I couldn't help imagining how funny it's going to be on-screen and can't wait to see it at the cinema. The only thing about it that bothered me is that it sets you up for a sequel. Personally I'm not the kind of person who can wait for a second book to come out in a series, so I wish this one was longer and had the closure I craved.Read moreLess
