Grey Area and Other Stories, by Will Self

This is English writing at its funniest. Will Self's surreal vision of England really kills me. Its all in the detail. Some of his decriptions about very pedestrian things just make me laugh whilst one can only envy his power with words. For people who like reading the thesauras this is a dream come true.
