Faithless Wife Jo Eames

I got this book from a friend and couldn't put it down - even with a demanding two-year old!!

The intricate descriptions of Menorca where the book is set really made me feel as I was there and I told my partner I'd like to holiday there next year it sounds like a beautiful and historical island.

The story is intriguing from the start and has that amazing quality that means you promise to switch the light off at the end of this chapter but it somehow drags you in for a couple more... (Before you know it your partner is poking you to turn the light off its gone 1am!!)

I don't want to give too much away but the story is based on a woman called Kate who has run away from her own demons only to be caught up in someone else's story of secrets and lies over generations. From tales of the Civil War to modern day island life it really is compelling.

My recommendation is to read it now!!
