Poorly edited, bad results

I can't stand this book. Everything I've cooked from it hasn't been right, (and yes I cook from a lot of cookbooks). I intially thought it looked good, but after trying some of the recipes, it's one of the worst books I've bought.

I love the fact that these recipes are so easy to follow, he dh tried a couple.

Great Book

Lots of easy and quick cooking for real families> I am more likely to have these things in my cupboard so a good for us.

The gingerbread stars are a hit

Very down to earth recipes that will appeal to the whole family. Good, sensible food with nice ingredients and nice touches for tasty meals.

Both books include both easy as well as more complex dishes and lots of new and interesting ideas.

I have found so many recipes which I have enjoyed making and my fanily has enjoyed eating. Also, the recipes are easy to adapt. For example for a slow cooker, etc..

A pleasant surprise - down to earth, realistic about family life with small children. The recipes I've tried do work and there are lots which would appeal to my children. Would prefer less sweet more savoury but overall worth the money.

Lots of yummy recipes that seem to be easy to follow. I've been given requests from the family to try out quite a few of them. Some unexpected gems too.

All the recipes I have followed from these two books have been loved both by husband, son and guests. They are pretty much foolproof and there are some really new ideas that I would not have tried on my own.

My only gripe is that there are too many cakes/treats/puddings which I never really bother with.
