"Highly recommended.…"

It is all about a book of dreams in The Colour Red, a wonderful read for young children with active imaginations. My little one is 7 and loved the illustrations and she has asked me to make her a book of dreams that she can keep under the bed! Highly original and one to be read over and over again.

"A magical tale for children…"

I bought this for my 6 year old daughter and both her and I thoroughly enjoyed this enchanting and magical tale. Beautifully written in rhyme, thought provoking with fabulous illustrations, this book opened up a wonderful world of dreams for my daughter and I to share together. We are both really looking forward to reading 'The Colour Blue' to see how the adventures develop.

I have been meaning to write a review for The Colour Red for a while because it really is a book that has to be read. Wherever I look I see great reviews for this and deservedly so. Magical illustrations woven with wonderful words telling the story of Loss and her book of dreams. My children are 6 and 8 and they have me reading it over and over again.

"WHAT A FIND…"

This has to be one of the most refreshing books written for children. Encouraging the mind of a child to use their own imagination is hard, but when I read this to children they want to do just that. The ryhme is beautifully written and the illustrations further enhance the enchancting tale.

"Beautiful words, magical illustrations…"

I did a review of the grownup fable featuring Loss and was interested to see how the character would work in a children's book. The illustrations are truly magical and refreshingly different from most children's illustrations today . Look at the cover and you know this is something special. The words are beautiful and written in verse. I have read it several times this morning (it only came today!) and it is so catchy you can't get the words out of your head. I have just ordered another one as a birthday present and can't recommend it enough.
