This is a fabulous book, especially for any children who are vegetable dodgers (are there any that aren't?!). It takes a light hearted look at why it's important for our bodies to get the nutrition they need in order to stay fit and healthy, but gets the message across in a very literal way that pre-schoolers can really understand, not to mention find pant-wettlingly amusing (particularly when the little girl's bottom falls off!). The rhythm and rhyme is hugely appealing and it's a perfect bed time reading length. At the moment, my DD will opt for this one 3 times in a row over 3 different stories. She's 3, but it's probably a good read for kids from 2-4.Read moreLess
