DD enjoyed this book. I had mixed feelings about it. I found it a bit boring at the start but the rea=st was okay. Found the ending freaky when Rebecca was singing 'Sunshine'.

I loved this book and so did ds (10). It was a real gripping "can't book the book down" thriller of a plot. I would recommend it to fluent readers aged 9+.

Tunnels was billed by the bookshop as 'what to read next when you've finished Harry Potter'. I read it first, then my daughter (7) read it. We both thought it was a pretty good read. Some of the scenes in the middle of the book were pretty gruesome and unless your child is pretty unshockable I wouldn't recommend it until age 10. Having said that, dd couldn't put the book down and would like it to become a series of books. Next Harry Potter - I'm not sure....
