This rhyming book is written from a child’s perspective about his feelings and understanding of the imminent arrival of a sibling.

The book simplifies the process of pregnancy and how a new baby is accepted into the growing family. It models many positive aspects such as a child’s excitement about a new baby and how this process can be shared.

Lovely book for sharing with a toddler who is about to become a big brother or sister. Rhyme is written by Giles Andreae - AKA Purple Ronnie and flows really nicely. The pictures are lovely too. We bought a few books for DS when DD was on her way and this one was definitely the favourite.

My son still likes reading this, even though the house is now more like a saggy tent. It's a bit cutesy, but helped me to explain to him some of the weirder bits of pregnancy.

I got this book when I was pregnant so that I could share it with my 2 year old daughter. It was perfect. She loved all the pictures of the pregnant mummy in the book and she really related to the child in the book and all the things he did with his mummy's tummy! A great book to share with your little one if you are pregnant. It helps them understand what's going on inside your tummy without going into any details!

Lovely book about pregnancy that soon-to-be siblings will really enjoy. Has really warm and loving illustrations and deals with the ups (and downs) of pregnancy with nice, gentle humour. It is definitely for siblings 2-3 years plus though as the ideas are too complicated for younger ones.

A lovely story for big brothers or sisters to be, with lots of detailed pictures. It covers all the finer details of being pregnant, including sickness and cravings. Our son loves looking at the characters and the positive images of having a new baby in the family.
