While these stories are just full ofr colour, life and imagination, they are definitely for the slightly older child. Please read these tales to your child but beware of wanting to read them whiel they are too young - save them for a little older - 6 plus is good.

A great collection of books but I would recommend it for children aged 7 and upwards as the concept is a little complicated for younger children, words often need explaining and the war scenes can upset sensitive little minds. But you'll know if your child will love it or not - mine did!

"A brilliant book for this imagination, this book will really carry your child away to magical places." "This is a great book to read together because the story is short enough to keep the child interested and it is so well written." "I was so looking forward to travelling back through the wardrobe with my children and I haven't been disappointed. They love all the Narnia tales but this is a real favourite - they always want to move on to the next chapter and we end up reading much more than we set out to read".

10 Fantastic fantacy stories that begin with The Magician's nephew, in which Aslan the lion berings the world of Narnia into being. These books enthralled and enchanted me as a child, and I loook forward to taking the journeys all over again with our daughter!
