A sweet tale of hatching eggs and proud mother birds, beautifully illustrated, with different size pages for little fingers to help turn. Duck hasn't laid an egg, but then finds a rather large one. What will it be when it hatches? Just as well Duck knits such large bootees. I won't give away the ending, but it's delicious surprise, every single read.
