Surprise, Surprise, by Michael Foreman

Lovely story about a little Panda who overcomes his fear of the dark in order to give his mum the best birthday surprise ever. Lovely illustrations, and very sweet tone without being patronising. We read this every night for a week to my 3 yr old and it has really helped ease his fear of the dark.
