Sally's Secret, by Shirley Hughes

This is my 4 year old daughter's absolute favourite book. She has loved it since she was 2, and we borrowed it from the library so many times we eventually bought it. The story is beautiful, and it really captures what it's like to be a little girl - takes me back to my childhood. As ever, Shirley Hughes' illustrations are wonderful. I highly recommend this to anyone with a daughter aged 2-5 years (although my son likes it too!)
