Myro and the Bush Fire, by Nick Rose

The Myro series of books are brilliant, my kids aged 4 and 7 both love them equally. They are bright and colourful and very interactive.

This Myro book is the second in a series of six children's books about a little airplane and his adventures. I found them in our local book shop and as it was hard to get my 5 year old son to read (because not many books seemed to capture his interest) this book was perfect! The stories are amusing and easy to follow and they are filled with great facts and information about wildlife and flying. My son especially enjoyed this book, Myro and the Bushfire, which had us both captivated and wondering what would happen next. Now he says they are his 'favourite books ever' and he took them straight to show and tell. I would definitely recommend them to fellow mums trying to get their little ones to read more!
