My Dad, by Anthony Browne

Wonderful book which my dd has enjoyed from 2 to 7.Agree it is great as a fathers day present - dads will enjoy reading it too.

Both my boys love this book. It's chosen from the shelf again and again. The illustrations are fantastic. There's also a 'My Mum' which is equally lovely.

Great book. Some really clever and amusing illustrations. The final page makes me well up (just a tiny wee bit) everytime I read it.

My Dad captures the maigic, fun relationship between small children and their dads. After all, he is usually the 'good cop", isn't he? (Lucky so-and-so!) The one greeted by giggles and hugs when he walks through the door.

The pictures are fab and who can resist the vibrant image of Dad being as happy as a hippo (as opposed to Mummy having the post-bab y hips of a hippo, eh?!)

A real feelgood book and a great present for dads or dads-to-be.

What a fabulous book. We have read this to our little boy since he was a baby and even now at 2 and a half, he still loves it. It makes a lovely gift for a new dad, fathers' day gift, etc.

"This book celebrates dads in such a lovely way". It's "beautifully illustrated" and each page highlights one of dad's best qualities, from being able to walk on a tightrope to being as happy as a hippopotamus. "I bought it as a Christmas gift for my husband just before our first child was born and they now love reading it together". "It's really simple so it's a great book for when they are getting bored of the simple "first words" type of book".

Both ,my boys love this book as do mum&dad. The pictures are fab with litle details which make you laugh. Cant reccomend it highly enough.
