Mrs Armitage's Wheels, by Quentin Blake

My son and I enjoyed this book immensely. Each time Mrs Armitage adds another ingenious improvement to her bicycle, another sticky problem is created. Her final solution is to abandon the bicycle altogether. What we enjoyed was there was so much to discuss along the way (was that a good idea? what should she have done?) and also the noisy /messy results of her invention. I work as a Product Manager and it basically describes what I do at work every day - tempering people's "brilliant" ideas and clearing up the mess they inevitably cause. Maybe I should be take in a copy in for my Directors and see if they recognise themselves in Mrs Armitage.
