"This is a large format spiral bound book (bit larger…"
10-Jul-2008
This is a large format spiral bound book (bit larger than A4) with lots of colourful pages each divided horizontally into 4 strips. Each strip has a short section from a well known fairy tale on the left hand side with a matching image on the corresponding page on the right. The simple idea is that you randomly select different strips to make up your own crazy tale: "Goldilocks" "Was bossed around by her stepsisters" "And fell asleep for a hundred years before being woken by" "a Turnip!"
This book has created endless hours of fun for our daughter who gets her younger sister to select the pages and then tells her the story - hilarity all round as they busily select the next crazy tale. Simple idea, well made, colourful and definitely encourages children to read. Perfect for ages 6 upwards with a reasonable vocabulary but perhaps are reluctant readers or have short attention spans.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.
