This book has gorgeous illustrations, rhyming and is very cute. A winner all round.
Don't do what I did and get the other similar stories 'How do Dinosaurs tidy their rooms' etc because they are not illustrated with the same care and they don't read well either.Read moreLessMumsnetter ramade

One of a range begging the question how do dinosaurs...?
The basic gist is do they kick off and be naughty or are they good? but its laid out beautifully with a wide range of dinosaurs for those spoddy kids and parents who like more than just the Rexes and the Diplodocoses talked about in books!
Amazing pictures, very expressive, and very funny.Read moreLessMumsnetter MaeBee

At first glance this seems like quite a strange book - the mum and dad are trying to get the dinosaurs into bed at night. I wasn't sure whether I liked it at first, but my daughter loved it and we had to read it over and over again when we first got it. It's good because it goes through all the usual things that children do to try to avoid bedtime, and says that dinosaurs would never behave like that. The dinosaurs then show how bedtime should be done! Not a brilliant book, but a good one to read as part of your bedtime routine.

This was my DD's final book of the night for a long time. We acted out the end part, kisses, hugs, and goodnight, goodnight little, dinosaur.
Great book!Read moreLessMumsnetter Carnival

I do love a funny bedtime story; I loathe all the sentimental gloopy ones (How Much Do You Wuv Me et al). This one fits the bill. Lovely American 40s-style illustrations; hilarious dinosaurs who DON'T do lots of bad things when going to bed (of course not) and you can even look all-knowing to your child because the scientific name of each dinosaur is hidden in the picture.... This is a winner every time.
