Comments from other Mumsnetters: "The books begin in an exciting and scary-but-not-really way 'In a dark dark town there was a dark dark street ...' and by the time we met the two skeletons and their dog, both children were giggling." "The stories are funny, eccentric - and just about the right length." "A great book for children who love the idea of scary things more than the reality - Funnybones presents skeletons and scary things in a humorous and totally unfrightening way!"

i found this to be quite a long story BUT held the childrens attention throughout. As a childminder i find this book appeals to all ages from 3 - 9 years. Its an educational book teaching the children about the different bones in our body. very entertaining

I loved this series, loved reading the books to my sons. A major plus if you have to read them lots of times. My sons loved the books, too - very funny and 'on the edge' in an acceptable way for little children.
