"Loads of giggles…"
My son is 11 and loved it, his friends do too!! ))) And it kept him occupied, I got to iron and clean without a single bleet from him.
Has to make it a winner from that alone.
Pure silliness, reminds me of Purple Ronnie.Read moreLess
Review by ds aged 9: the whole book is funny and brilliant. I like the bit where he loses his trousers in the swimming pool best.Read moreLess
We bought one because it's popular and were unimpressed. Yes it has some funny bits here and there. However my own children have more interesting adventures frankly. It seems this trend for faux-real stick people is here for a while. Not a patch on Harry Potter, Percy Jackson or Sean Yeager for that matter.Read moreLess

I thought this was not surprisingly funny, clever and silly! I read this book from cover to cover in 2 hours because I didn't want to put it down. It was an instant hit. It's written like a diary and there are hand drawn pictures of Gregory and co which make it really funny and easy to read. I loved it when Gregory had to write Christmas letters to his relatives with hilarious consequences. A great book for boys and girls around nine to eleven. This was definitely one of the best books I've ever read. (George aged 10)Read moreLess
