Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, by by Roald Dahl

I have recently re-read this book with my fourth child , and it is just so much better than the film. the language and sentiments are wonderful.

great bok for all ages

I love this book and now my daughter feels the same way about it. We have read it over and over again - it's only when you are an adult you realise how well written it is!

An amazing classic !! Forget the new film , let your child conjour up his own magical world , afterall , all children love sweets and have their own idea of the perfect factory !! Creates lots of imaginative stories and discussions about what it would be like to own your own sweet factory !!

Charlie and the Chocolate factory by Roald Dahl gets a perfect 10 without question. A classic rags to riches story that is choc full of the most wonderful and fantastical experiences a child could possibly imagine. This is a book for all ages and stages, from tots through to teens and most definately adults too. A book that brings pleasure time and again no matter how many times you've read it or seen the movies.
