Bye-Bye, Bozwell Bear, by Rob Lewis

Bozwell Bear is fed up with life at home. He decides that enough is enough and it's time to leave home! Bozwell sets off into the woods, but it's not long before he feels hungry and returns home, just in time for cake! Bozwell is off to the woods again, but he misses his books, then his tent. Finally, after many trips, Bozwell returns for his teddy, but this time the tired little bear finds it's not quite so easy to leave.

This gives a gentle message about the security of home and the creature comforts we so often take for granted. Both of my children find this book very amusing. They join in as we repeat the journey Bozwell takes to the woods and back home again. We often change the words and use there names instead of Bozwell and Ruby. This has them giggling even more. We really enjoy this book.
