"Great fun little story for boys!…"
Trying to get one of my boys aged 9 to read anything is a task in itself. But when my 7 year old recommends a book because "it's just mad" his words not mine! Jack (9) paid attention and read the whole thing without even encouragement! Thank you Mrs Hilda Poppitt please write some more.Read moreLess
"Great Fun and a Novel Idea…"
I bought this under recommendation from a friend at my sons school.
It has a great story and a novel idea of engaging the reader with tasks that involve looking things up on-line.
The story was humorous and engaged me as well as Edward.
I downloaded this to a kindle but Edward would like a hard copy so I have the hard copy on order at Waterstones.
Would recommend this to anyone as it is a novel and fresh idea with an old fashion story line.Read moreLess
"Excellent! for ages 7-11. But brilliant bed time story for under 7 yrs.…"
Excellent good old fashion story with a very funky cover (the reason for my nieces purchase!) She laughed out loud and could not put it down (we bought kindle edition). I also read while babysitting for three other younger children, who actually said it was the best story they have ever heard! It's like "the fabulous five" by Enid Blyton but funnier with funny characters. There are also hints throughout the book to google certain interesting things i.e. walking on custard!Read moreLess
