Tommee Tippee microwave / cold water steriliser

hi can u used a any bottles in the tommee tippee hot and cold microwave steriliser or just tommee tippee as its the first time i bought a tommee tippee microwave steriliser write bck pl thanks if anyone can help me

I have been using this steriliser for nearly 4months and think its great. Easy to use, fits in microwave and easy to take away on holiday. Ideal as i don't have a lot of space in kitchen, i store it inside the microwave. Does a good job, i leave the bottles to cool down before taking lid off that way you don't get burnt by hot steam.

It doesn't do it's job very well. The top doesn't fit well, steam burns me trying to take it out of the microwave and that causes me to doubt it will stay sterile long. The lock for the lid is fiddly and can appear to be locked when it isn't. It's huge, which is good in that I can get all 6 bottles in but bad in that it totally fills the microwave and leads me to wonder if it would be a problem on holiday. I replaced it with an Avent one after 3 months.

Cheap and easy to use, perfect for those who use Tommee Tippee bottles and don't want to spend too much on a sterliser or don't have space for the electric steam one. I'm not a fan of the way the top coems off. I've burnt my fingers from the hot steam several times no matter how I take the top off.

Apart from being a little on the bulky side for when it comes to travelling and only getting 4 bottles in this steriliser is fab value for money!! It has done us proud the last 6 months and would recommened it to anyone who is looking for a cheap and cheerful product that does exactly what it says!

I thought this was a great product..apart from only being able to put in 4 bottles...until we managed to burn a great whole in the bottom...are we the only ones who have managed to do this or has anyone else experienced it? Apparently we might have had some small food residue on the mircowave plate that caused a catastrauphic melt down..worrying.

Well I have to be honest, this has been worth its weight in gold! My Husband and I were trying to be so prepared for the birth of our child and wanted to have everything ready. We purchased both microwave and an electric sterilizer, but I have to say the microwave one is by far the best and we use it 100% of the time its quick easy. I've brought another for when my little one stays with his grandparents who also find it great to use!!!

generally really like this. bought it as thought it would be fairly portable which i guess it could be. can pack loads in and ready quite quickly (unfortunately i only have an 800w microwave). i do find that when i open the lid that it tends to drip boiling hot water everywhere which isn't the best. but overall a good buy particularly as it can double as a cold steriliser if you took it somewhere without a microwave.

This is a great steriliser, made to hold 4 bottles, but you can fit five if you pop one over the tong holder. Has been excellent for sterilising all other bits as well - bowls, spoons etc. Once the bottles or bowls are in any smaller item can be added in the spaces left. Would deffinately recommend and bargains can be found in the larger supermarkets, we got ours half price.

Little on the large size (do check the size of your microwave prior to purchasing). However, well made and quick and easy to use. Instruction manual failed to mention how much water to fill the steriliser with.

very good and sraight forward..tommee tippee are very good all round, i use the bottles aswel and they're fab

Fab - easy to use, doesn't take any time for setting up and very flexible. Great if you will be travelling as the cold water option can be used anywhere, and it's great value for money.

Could be bigger, but is ideal for mums who mainly breastfeed, and top up with bottles.

Really useful. Although bulky could store in the microwave. However didn't fit in my parents microwave (measure up before you take it away with you). Used it for my bottles and expressor through two children. Very good value for money.

Found this a right pain to use as a microwave steriliser because three hours after opening it, you have to sterlise everything again, even if you've only used one thing from it...we ended up constantly microwaving it. After a week I used it as a cold water steriliser instead. I fill it up and chuck a capful of Milton in it, and change it every 24 hours. So everything comes out of the water now and we dry it and then use it. So it's an expensive cold water steriliser!

Excellent to sterilize whatever i needed - from bottles to spoons (when i started weaning) and also for the breast-pump. It could take everything, and was done with the job in 5 minutes (microwave). Could'nt be easier. Its also easy to store the baby's stuff handy on the counter.

Would be better if you could fit more than 4 bottles in though.

Easy to use in either mode and stores neatly away in the microwave when not in use. Could do with having a bit to put dummies in to sterilise though as the design seems to be primarily for bottles.

Easy to use in either 'mode'. For me the downside is that it only fits in 4 bottles with not a lot of room for anything else.
