Graco Contempo

I liked this chair for 2 of my children, however, our kitchen isn't that wide and the chair does take up a lot of room. Even when you fold it away, it's still quite heavy and bulky. Otherwise I found it easy to clean and comfy for my children. Issue like food rest in the cracks are a common issue for chairs that aren't wood or solid plastic I suppose.

Fabulous. Really easy to use. Can put up with one hand which is important when holding a baby!
Folds up neat and tidy

Really happy with it. Seems really comfy and it reclines - useful for all the times DD fell asleep in it. Also meant she sat in it from about 4 months old. Multimple height positions mean you can be flexible with where and how you feed. Agree with comment about cleaning the harness. If you are looking for a comfy highchair to use before baby sits up brilliantly, this type is great, although a little fiddly to get food out from between crevices, however depending on the age of your child they may not be ready for a Stokke-type wooden or plastic chair. I really liked it.

All the features, but ...

Yes, it folds away to a slim size, it's not too heavy & the seat cover is wipeable. It's easy to adjust the height of the seat, & also to recline the seat (although the footrest doesn't move with the recline option).

BUT (& this is a big but), although the seat cover comes off the harness does not. Am I the only parent in the world whose child manages to get food over his harness? I have tried to scrub the harness clean but after using the chair for 4 months, the harness now looks rather grubby. Do other highchairs have the harness attached to the seat cover so that it all comes away together when you want to wash it in your washing machine? Or does no such highchair exist???
Excuse the rant / review but I am rather surprised that a highchair that is so good in every other respect lets itself down on this point.

Easy to clean, sturdy and stows away to a slim size really easily. My baby is very comfortable in it and I love that I can remove the whole tray but there is still a small bar to keep her safe.I couldn't be happier with it. Shop around as it is half the stated price on Kiddicare. It isn't the most attrative highchair but because it folds up so easily this isn't a problem at all. The harness is also very short so buy a seperate one when ordering.

This was a great highchair that has all the features such as adjustable height, recline, removable trays etc but, unlike the other highchairs in the same category, the Contempo folds up to a tiny size and is fairly light. I like it because its so easy to store.
