"I spent a while looking around at various highchairs as…"
04-Mar-2012
I spent a while looking around at various highchairs as I needed one that would fold up neatly and stand out of the way, as space is at a premium in this house! I eventually went for the Noodle as, for me, it offered the best options.
It was a bit of a fiddle to put together but should imagine not too different to other makes. Once it is up together it is a fantastic chair. The seat is nicely padded and my son seems really comfortable when he is sat in it, it also supports him really well. As the seat is well padded some food debris can get trapped in the creases but it is easy to wipe clean. The straps are fairly easy to clean too.
I love how easy the Noodle chair is to adjust with its six different settings and three recline positions. I can sit my son at the dining table with us, or raise him up if I am stood to feed, or lower him completely if I am sat on the sofa. He has even fallen asleep sat in his chair! It is also very easy to put up with one hand (a necessity with a baby).
The trays are both easy to clean and can go in the dishwasher. The top tray was great when we began weaning but my son does love to pull it off now that he is older, so I just save time and remove it altogether! I found the clips on the back of the highchair (to hold the tray when the chair is not in use) are a brilliant idea. They hold the tray when it is stood folded away. My son has a Chicco highchair at his grandparents and I always hate the fact that there is nowhere to put the tray.
The only thing that some people may want is a storage basket but I don't think this is a problem. Again the one my son has at his grandparents has a basket and it just seems to accumulate junk, bits of food and forever needs cleaning. I'd rather not have one.
All in all a great high chair.Read moreLess2 people found this review helpful.

"I got this after much research and on the whole…"
18-Oct-2011
I got this after much research and on the whole I think it's a really good product. It was fairly easy to assemble, it folds down pretty neat for storage and is still stand-alone when folded, my 7 month old baby seems comfy and secure in it and it looks as though it'll do him for quite a while to come.
The slight negatives (and they are only slight) are:
1. The tray insert that is supplied with it doesn't clip in very well and can move around if your baby bashes it hard enough, spilling food everywhere. I stopped using it after about 2 weeks and just use the main tray instead.
2. If you need to move the chair once the baby is strapped in (say to pull it up to the table for example) the only place you can hold it is on the release that fold the high chair up, or the one that adjusts the seat height. A couple of times this has resulted in sudden slippages!
3. There's lots of nooks and crannies in the seat cover for food to get trapped. Not too much of a problem as it is removable for cleaning but still a bit of a pain.
Other than these minor quibbles I think it's a good high chair and good value for money. Also the 4 year Cosatto guarantee is a nice touch.Read moreLess2 people found this review helpful.

"I was considering a trip trapp until I looked at…"
16-Aug-2011
I was considering a trip trapp until I looked at a video on youtube and decided that I had concerns about it's safety. I also wanted a high chair suitable for a 5 month old and I didn't feel that the trip trap would support him very well
So I decided to get a noodle,
Positive points;
1)it has 6 adjustable heights and means that you have no trouble feeding either sitting down on a sofa or at a table. The heighest hight is the perfect dining room table height so your baby can enjoy meal times with you.
2)The seat seems a little smaller than other highchairs I've seen, but it's perfect for my 5 month old and as it has a post that fits between his legs it supports him really well
3)It's light enough to move around
easily
4)Doesn't take up a huge amount of floor space
5)folds up very neatly if space is tight
6) great tray with removable insert
Negative Points
1) doesn't have wipe clean harness (not the end of the world as I've found out if you use a long sleeved bib you can just put this on your baby over the harness
2)tricky to assemble, but if you're good at these sort of things then I'm sure you'll have no problem
3) The seat does look small, I'm not sure if it'll have the lifespan of one that has a slightly bigger seat
4)the whole tray comes off to get your baby in and out. As you can't get it on or off with one hand you have to remember to leave it off prior to next use, otherwise you'll have to pop your baby down somewhere safe, remove the tray pick baby up....
5)No bag underneath - not a problem if you don't need the storageRead moreLess5 people found this review helpful.

"I spent ages debating about getting a Tripp Trapp but…"
22-Aug-2010
I spent ages debating about getting a Tripp Trapp but after costing up all the extras e.g. baby set, cushion and tray I decided it was too much money for a highchair. After looking around I found the Cosatto Noddle and realised that it has all the features of a Tripp Trapp but without the price tag. Our little girls loves the Noodle and finds it very comfortable - in fact she has even fallen asleep in it. The tray is very large and practical and it is nice that when it is removed she can sit with us at the table. It is very easy to adjust the height which comes in handy when you want to feed her while sitting on the sofa. Overall we are very happy with this chair.

"On the whole this is a great highchair. It looks…"

On the whole this is a great highchair. It looks really nice (we have the Baby Pop design) and it's really easy to clean. The tray is good - it's got an insert so that when they start eating finger food you can put the food in there. It's also a really good size so you can put toys on there as well. My only critisism is that sometimes it's tricky to put the tray on. It's got six different high settings so you can always get the right height and means you can put the baby right up to the table. My daughter spends a lot of time sitting and playing and it seems really comfortable. You can fold it up - it is quite big so I wouldn't recommend if you've got limited space but i don't tend to fold it up because she seems to spend so much of her time in it. It also has three recline positions and it's well padded, so although we didn't have it until my daughter was older, I would imagine it would be very comfortable for smaller babies and used as an alternative to a baby chair. This will last us a long time and will definitely grow with my daughter so is great value for money.
