"Good for toddlers…"
We have 2 Babydan chairs. We started using them once our babies were around 2, as before this, the chairs were too hard to sit comfortably in for long. Also, I didn't like the baby bar - too much of a faff - so we used a normal padded baby highchair until our toddlers were climbers. One of the chairs has developed cracks around the screws so I don't think they will last too many more years. They are easy to clean and adjust.Read moreLess

"Wish I'd bought this from day one…"
Love this highchair. After pining for a Tripp Trapp from day one, we have been through 2 other highchairs and a booster seat before I finally decided to buy the Babydan. And its brilliant! The height is adjustable so I can get DS sat comfortably at the table with us. It wipes clean easily, and best of all you hardly notice its there! My DS also loves it and sits there happily for the whole meal, and often wants to stay to draw or paint too. great value, wish I'd bought this one first.Read moreLess

This chair is brilliant. We first bought one five years ago for my son and he still uses it now. Just bought another ready for my daughter. It is really sturdy, easy to put together and looks good too. It goes right up to the table like a normal chair which is brilliant. Excellent value for money.Read moreLess

"we bought this while i was pregnant with number 2,…"
we bought this while i was pregnant with number 2, number 1 was 2.5years and getting to heavy to lift into our ikea chair, she loves to climb up and seat herself although does push herself out from the table, but the chair is very sturdy and we have wooden floor so she just slides, great purchase albeit a little pricey.Read moreLess

"Cannot recommend this more highly. Well put together, easy to…"
Cannot recommend this more highly. Well put together, easy to use, fits in well at the table (doesn't look like some plastic creation) and ensure your child sits at the table from the start of weaning.
DD is almost 2 and we still use it. We've removed the baby bar and just have a simple harness now but I can see us using this for a long time yet.
Good quality, easy to clean and fab for family meals. Well worth it and not too expensive, especially when compared with the Stokke.Read moreLess

"Bought the white version with baby bar & black seat…"
Bought the white version with baby bar & black seat cushion.
I really wanted a Stokke trip trap, but when I priced it up, I quickly realised that it was too expensive. Having spent ages researching options, I chose the Babydan based on the fact that it has the same principal as the trip trap in that it is highly adjustable & sits lovely up to a family dining table.
It is easy to assemble & is very high quality. We started to use this with our son at 7mths. To begin with I had some real problems getting him in/out as he did not understand to bend his legs & I panicked (our ds is taller than average for age & rather chunky thighs) however, I adjusted the bar to the largest setting of the 3 options & my ds quickly learnt what he needed to do, although I always talk him through it. He sits up beautifully to the dining table & always looks rather pleased with himself! Its is very easy to clean & I really like the apperance of it in our space limited kitchen. When ds sits in other highchairs when out he never sits as well & I think that the more restrained they are by harnessing etc, the more uptight they will be during meal times.Read moreLess
