Elveden Forest is a "compact, easy to get around resort" which "is perfect for an easy and relaxed weekend break" and is "jam packed with things for the kids to do." "You aren't reliant on the weather" and the "pool complex is amazing." "You can save money by self-catering a bit" as "everything you need is in the chalets - including usually a barbeque." "If you live in a city it's a great contrast to be surrounded by trees with the odd goose or pheasant walking right up to the window." The basics
location Elveden Forest in Brandon, Suffolk
price * Prices from Friday night to Monday morning are on self-catering basis, including use of the Subtropical Paradise swimming complex, children's outdoor play areas and any free children's entertainment. All other facilities cost extra. Accommodation is in villas with two people per room - all have cooking facilities. There are three levels of villas with the two bedroom Comfort level villa starting at £335 for a weekend in low season.
creche / kids clubs The Time Out Clubhouse for children from three months to seven years is registered with Ofsted and staffed by nursery nurses. Sessions are two or three hours long and cost a nominal amount. There is a Time Out Zone and Virtual Zone for children eight to 14 years.
special facilities for kids Adventure playgrounds, soft play areas, baby and toddlers areas in the Subtropical Paradise swimming complex, archery, biking and more. Children's menus and high chairs in all restaurants, cots, baby baths in villas. Babysitting available. No baby listening.
